Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain intricate iOS applications utilizing Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, RxSwift, Swift Concurrency, or Combine.

• Develop pixel-perfect user interfaces that accurately reflect designs and adapt seamlessly across various devices, prioritizing accessibility and internationalization.

• Connect with backend services through RPC, REST, and Websockets to ensure a superb mobile user experience that is exceptionally fast for end users.

• Take ownership of significant components of the product that are highly visible both within the organization and to external audiences.

• Conceptualize new products and features that are innovative, thoughtful, and forward-looking.

• Manage feature areas from start to finish—covering technical design, instrumentation, rollout, monitoring, and iteration—driving measurable improvements in picker speed and accuracy.

• Engage in extensive communication and collaboration across multiple teams and functions within the organization to foster consensus, align objectives, and achieve effective cross-functional results.

• Analyze, benchmark, and enhance application performance; monitor stability and quality using observability and crash monitoring tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in iOS development.

• Proficient in iOS development technologies, including Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, RxSwift, Swift Concurrency, or Combine.

• Strong expertise in performance optimization for iOS.

• Experience in instrumenting applications for analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring.

• Demonstrated ability in rigorous unit testing and effective problem-solving.

• Skilled in debugging and analytical capabilities using XCode tools, profilers, and logs.

• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
