• Assist in enhancing and defining our Environment and VFX workflows, tools, and shaders.
• Generate innovative solutions to produce polished and high-performing VR visuals.
• Identify and utilize a diverse range of Unity and standalone tools that are most suitable for each task.
• Contribute to our custom HLSL über-shaders, ensuring they are clean, optimized, and efficient.
• Design visual effects for Gameplay and UI, while also supporting teammates in similar tasks.
• Troubleshoot technical, visual, and performance-related challenges.
• Over 5 years of experience working with Unity.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Technical Artist role.
• Extensive familiarity with the Unity toolset, including Animations, Timelines, Particle Systems, VFX Graph, Nested Prefabs, and Material Property Blocks.
• Experience in creating technical 3D and 2D assets using procedural DCC tools (e.g., baking arbitrary data into textures and mesh properties).
• In-depth understanding of Forward & Built-in rendering pipelines along with mobile/VR optimizations.
• Proficient in using hand-written shaders to craft distinctive visuals.
