Technical Architect – SAP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic guidance, execute transformation initiatives, design, develop, and optimize solutions utilizing SAP development tools and platforms.

• Collaborate with global teams and partners across various functions to deliver integrated solutions, define and update technology roadmaps, and maintain architectural documentation.

• Advise, analyze, and assist businesses in planning, evaluating, modernizing, and developing digital solutions.

• Define the application architecture, which may encompass custom, software, or package-based solutions. This includes application selection, modernization priorities, design approaches, and integration, covering the full stack when applicable.

• Travel as necessary for client engagements and project work.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in the SAP domain.

• At least two SAP S/4 HANA migration projects, particularly those involving custom code remediation.

• Strong knowledge of FIORI architecture, Launchpad configuration, app integration, and app extension.

• Proficient in the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), and SAP UI5.

• Extensive experience with the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Familiarity with SAP AII/OER, Advanced Track and Trace (ATTP), and Corporate Serialization (CorS).

• Exposure to SAP integrations, including B2B/EDI/IDOC, Concur, Ariba, Success Factors, Sales Cloud, and Coupa.

• Strong understanding of several functional areas such as FI, SD, MM, PP, PS, and WM.

• Experience in developing rich internet applications using technologies such as AJAX, JavaScript, JSON, JAVA, and J2EE.

• Experience with Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and multi-cloud BTP environments.

• Working knowledge of Groovy Scripts, XML, and XSLT.

• Experience in engaging with senior and executive leadership.

• Proven experience with multi-tier and hybrid-cloud system development for large enterprises.

• Knowledge of agile development processes, best practices in development, system architecture, design, implementation, and test automation.
