This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Abbott Diagnostics’ most complex instruments, providing assistance to ADD customers and field personnel.
• Execute onsite integration of instruments and assays, along with training sessions.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with instruments and reagents either onsite or via phone support.
• Record details in the complaint handling system.
• Conduct entrance interviews with customers to identify their needs and confirm expectations.
• Support customers in meeting regulatory and validation requirements.
• Tailor onsite training to align with customer-specific requirements.
• Oversee integration processes to fulfill customer expectations and deadlines.
• Carry out exit interviews, present integration outcomes, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Investigate issues, identify likely causes, rule out alternatives, propose solutions, and document results.
• Maintain technical proficiency with assigned instruments, tools, and methodologies.
• Adhere to TAS work processes for integration, complaints, time tracking, activity logging, and TOR documentation.
• Collaborate with teams remotely and engage in customer touchpoint teams.
• A bachelor’s degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science.
• 3 to 5 years of pertinent work experience in a laboratory setting, field service, technical support call center, or with Abbott Diagnostics products, assays, or instruments.
• Current residency in the San Francisco Bay area or Salt Lake City, UT area.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
• Convenient access to a major metropolitan airport.
• Technical proficiency with assigned instruments and relevant job tools and processes.
• Capability to follow TAS work processes, including those related to integration, complaints, time tracking, activity recording, and TOR documentation.
• Competence in troubleshooting instrument and reagent issues.
• Ability to assist with regulatory and validation needs.
• Valid driver's license for operating a personal or company vehicle.
