Technical Analyst – Deployment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage VXcis minor releases from the development phase to deployment.

• Ensure that release artifacts, versioning, and documentation are complete, precise, and traceable.

• Take responsibility for the readiness and execution of minor releases.

• Maintain comprehensive historical records of minor release upgrades.

• Manage the deployment of minor and patch releases to implementation environments.

• Carry out production deployments once the necessary approvals are obtained and documented.

• Coordinate the timing and sequencing of deployments with development, testing, and implementation teams.

• Ensure consistency across environments and maintain deployment traceability across platforms.

• Manage and execute production emergency deployments, including hot fixes and urgent upgrades.

• Confirm, document, and uphold the required approvals during emergency situations.

• Facilitate rapid response while ensuring deployment controls and auditability are maintained.

• Aim to reduce the mean time to deploy while safeguarding production stability.

• Provide centralized visibility into release readiness, deployment schedules, and associated risks.

• Create and uphold a single source of truth for the status of releases and deployments.

• Collaborate across development, QA, implementation, and leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in supporting software release management and environment deployments.

• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release processes.

• Experience in a fast-paced, release-intensive environment.

• Ability to manage high-risk deployments with meticulous attention to detail and accountability.

• Strong skills in documentation, organization, and process governance.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to provide clear status updates and risk visibility to both technical and leadership audiences.

• Preferred: experience managing production deployments in enterprise or regulated settings.

• Preferred: familiarity with version control systems, build pipelines, and deployment tooling.

• Preferred: knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

• Preferred: experience with IBM iSeries / AS400 environments.

• Preferred: experience with MKS Integrity or similar version control tools.

• Preferred: experience supporting utility or CIS platforms.

• Preferred: ability to coordinate effectively among development, QA, implementation, and leadership teams.

• Preferred: experience managing emergency production incidents while ensuring controls and auditability are maintained.
