This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Diagnose and address issues related to websites, including errors, bugs, and performance challenges.
• Determine the underlying causes of technical problems across various WordPress sites.
• Repair malfunctioning features such as forms, links, plugins, or scripts.
• Oversee plugin updates and resolve any compatibility issues that arise.
• Troubleshoot conflicts that may occur between themes, plugins, or custom code.
• Ensure the stability of websites following updates or modifications.
• Test and rectify issues with contact forms, lead capture forms, and submission processes.
• Assist with integrations involving CRM systems, email tools, or tracking platforms.
• Guarantee that data is accurately captured and transmitted.
• Address loading speed concerns and fundamental performance issues.
• Monitor for any error messages or signs of downtime.
• Respond to assigned technical tickets and tasks promptly.
• Investigate issues reported by internal teams or clients effectively.
• Deliver clear resolutions within agreed-upon turnaround times.
• Collaborate with website editors, developers, and marketing teams.
• Escalate complex issues as necessary.
• Offer insights on recurring technical challenges.
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting WordPress websites.
• Knowledge of the interactions between plugins, themes, and CMS systems.
• Fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving technical website issues.
• Familiarity with forms, APIs, and third-party integrations is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Capability to work independently and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a systematic approach to debugging.
