Tech Lead – React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor development teams while collaborating closely with clients.

• Convert business and technical requirements into effective applications.

• Offer both technical and line-management guidance to your development team.

• Assume responsibility for the successful completion of projects.

• Proactively identify and address blockers before they escalate into issues.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, DevOps, and agile methodologies within the team.

• Shape and define architectural decisions to guarantee scalability, security, and maintainability.

• Provide updates to clients and Nearform leadership to maintain a clear understanding of project status and facilitate informed decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software engineering, either as a Senior Engineer leading projects and mentoring or as a Technical Lead, preferably with React.

• Proven experience working directly with clients or customers to gather and understand technical requirements.

• Background in leading software engineering teams through technical delivery, with experience in either direct line management or mentoring.

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, best practices, and design patterns.

• Profound knowledge of test-driven development and testing best practices.

• In-depth understanding of version control systems, such as Git.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Awareness of operational concerns, including monitoring, performance testing, security considerations, accessibility, and GDPR compliance.

• Strong empathy and interpersonal skills.

• Nice to have: Experience with a headless CMS, particularly with Contentful.
