• You will play a crucial role in shaping the technical future of our organization.

• You will take technical ownership of your domain, overseeing everything from architecture to production operations.

• You will define target architectures, make well-informed decisions regarding architecture and build-vs-buy scenarios, and establish clear technical guidelines for our modern Java/Spring Boot and Angular/TypeScript ecosystem.

• You will challenge existing solutions, keep an eye on market and technology trends, and intentionally evolve our systems with the goal of actively influencing the market rather than merely following it.

• You will serve as a bridge between product and engineering teams.

• You will collaborate closely with Product and stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable technical strategies.

• In this process, you will critically evaluate requirements, clarify dependencies and risks, and facilitate well-informed decision-making.

• You will assess the potential of AI and integrate it thoughtfully where it can provide significant value, whether in the development process or in the final product.

• You will keep an eye on delivery, quality, and costs.

• You will take ownership of the technical aspects of Discovery & Delivery from start to finish, concentrating on architecture, quality, and cost/benefit considerations.

• You will strive to eliminate unnecessary complexity and make informed decisions about where innovation is warranted.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing complex software systems and holding technical leadership positions, such as Tech Lead, Senior Engineer, or Staff Engineer.

• A strong understanding of architecture, system design, and sustainable technical decisions within mature system environments.

• Experience in collaborating with Product and stakeholders, translating business needs into technical tasks, and taking responsibility for feedback on technical decisions.

• Several years of hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot and TypeScript/Angular, preferably using recent versions.

• Proven ability to work with APIs, integrations, distributed systems, and CI/CD for production-grade software development.

• A high standard for code quality, clear technical principles, and test coverage (ideally with Playwright).

• A solid understanding of stability, scalability, and maintainability in production, even under increased traffic.

• A passion for empowering colleagues through guidance, collaboration, and clear decision-making.

• An interest in pragmatically applying new technologies and integrating AI capabilities into the product where appropriate (e.g., experience with Claude, Copilot, or similar tools).
