Team Loan Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Promote and market the financial products offered by PrimeLending.

• Manage loan volumes as directed by team loan originators efficiently and promptly.

• Acquire a solid understanding of company offerings as well as private and government-insured mortgage regulations.

• Oversee customer interactions and engage with all parties involved in the loan process from application to closing.

• Provide counseling and pre-qualify prospective home buyers.

• Gather and assess customer information regarding income, assets, investments, and debts.

• Organize appointments with prospective clients for team loan originators.

• Collect necessary support documents, fees, and additional paperwork, while keeping all parties updated on loan status.

• Secure any outstanding or uncollected loan documentation post-closing.

• Negotiate terms and conditions of loans with clients.

• Stay informed about current regulations and guidelines for both private and government-insured mortgages.

• Uphold a professional image while adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Meet established customer service standards and perform additional functions as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and necessary licenses as mandated by state regulations.

• One to two years of experience in sales or mortgage banking is preferred.

• Valid driver's license and current automobile liability insurance are required.

• Proven judgment and decision-making skills.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.

• Capability to rapidly assess and process extensive amounts of information.

• Proficiency in utilizing designated technology and necessary origination software.

• Continuous knowledge of factors affecting the mortgage industry and the organization.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the capacity to prioritize tasks based on loan volume.

• Competence with office equipment.

• Ability to uphold confidentiality regarding borrower and company information.
