Team Lead Cloud Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Actively contributing to the development of a modern Azure environment alongside a small team.

• Managing and optimizing the infrastructure, focusing on AKS clusters, Application Gateways, and VMs.

• Conducting incident analysis at the 2nd and 3rd levels.

• Collaborating closely with international teams.

• Documenting architectures and processes meticulously.

• Enhancing the performance of our systems.

• Ensuring the reliability of backup and recovery strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in IT or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in Azure, particularly with AKS, VM management, networking, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Azure SQL.

• Experience in Identity & Access Management, including Azure AD, MFA, and Conditional Access.

• A solid grasp of TCP/IP, VPN, and firewall technologies.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native technologies.

• Skilled in automation tools like Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible, as well as CI/CD pipelines.

• Basic knowledge of IT security and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR).

• Certifications such as Azure Administrator, M365 Enterprise Administrator, or CKA are advantageous.

• Ideally, some initial experience in team leadership.

• A structured and analytical approach to work.

• Proficient in German and have good English skills, both written and spoken.
