Tax Manager – R&D Tax Relief

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee a client portfolio from its initiation through to evaluation.

• Ensure the efficient processing of tasks from information gathering to submission.

• Organize workflows to guarantee timely job completion.

• Lead the team throughout the R&D process, ensuring deadlines are adhered to.

• Coordinate educational seminars with clients and deliver presentations either in-person or via Teams.

• Collaborate with clients to enhance their record-keeping practices and methodologies.

• Conduct client interviews alongside junior staff, ensuring all R&D criteria are addressed.

• Address any inquiries that may arise from HMRC.

• Verify that reports are thorough and of high quality prior to the final review by the Senior Tax Manager/Director.

• Aid in the training and development of junior staff members.

• Engage in Business Development activities.

• Proven experience with R&D tax relief.

• Exceptional report writing capabilities.

• Comfortable in a client-facing position.

• Up-to-date knowledge of applicable legislation and case law.

• Experience working collaboratively within a team and managing staff effectively.

• Capable of managing both personnel and tasks to meet all relevant deadlines.
