This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Accountable for the daily operations within the Tax team, addressing all processes related to Indirect Tax.
• Oversee the development of team members.
• Generate KPI reports.
• Provide support for EU Tax-wide operations by preparing standardized reports and analyses.
• Manage Control Framework activities pertaining to Indirect taxes.
• Supervise and conduct selected accounting procedures related to all indirect tax compliance activities.
• Coordinate local tax procedures, cash tax payments, and ensure the timely and accurate filing of VAT returns, ESL, and Intrastat.
• Monitor appropriate KPIs and internal controls to guarantee the efficiency and safety of processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient VAT reporting.
• Continuously enhance and standardize processes to boost efficiency and quality.
• Oversee the correct setup of SAP Indirect Tax rates and system logic.
• Ensure compliance with the relevant local VAT laws and regulations for all countries under supervision.
• Actively monitor changes in tax legislation.
• Assist in various audit processes, including group, statutory, and tax audits.
• Ensure proper record retention.
• Proactively support the business, particularly Sales, Finance, Logistics, and SSC, in all VAT-related matters.
• Lead or participate in projects related to indirect tax.
• Ensure workload optimization and provide full backup within the BSC Tax team.
• Undertake other reasonable tasks or projects as assigned.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business, or Economics.
• Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• A minimum of 4 years of tax experience in a multinational corporation with a focus on indirect tax.
• Proven successful experience in a People Management position.
• Experience working in an IFRS and/or US GAAP environment is a plus.
• Comprehensive understanding of overall tax principles.
• Strong expertise in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
