Tax Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary relationship manager for a designated client portfolio.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of clients' businesses, ownership structures, and strategic goals.

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with business owners, executives, and key stakeholders.

• Proactively provide guidance to clients on tax, operational, and strategic business issues.

• Supervise the provision of tax compliance and advisory services for both business and individual clients.

• Evaluate complex tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and individuals.

• Collaborate with specialists on state tax, transactions, accounting methods, credits and incentives, and other intricate tax issues.

• Lead, mentor, and develop Tax Senior Managers, Managers, and staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

• Current CPA or EA license.

• Over 10 years of experience in public accounting tax.

• Strong technical knowledge in partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and individual taxation.

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain executive-level client relationships.

• Experience in managing multiple client engagements and understanding engagement economics.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
