This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Execution of upstream/source system implementations.
• Evaluation of client business processes and creation of solutions to enhance financial accounting workflows.
• Deployment of the chosen upstream systems along with client training for effective use.
• Documentation and transition of implemented processes to the team responsible for monthly operations.
• Assistance with internal firm administration and management of DATEV permissions.
• Conducting DATEV data transfers.
• Creation of custom reports and management accounting analyses for clients.
• Client communication and project management, including detailed implementation plans with time estimates.
• Completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte) or equivalent advanced training as an accountant.
• Ideally experienced in both tax firms and corporate environments, with a comprehensive understanding of both perspectives.
• Extensive familiarity with DATEV Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen, including administration and data transfer processes.
• Strong knowledge of various upstream/source systems that integrate with DATEV.
• Business and finance understanding of accounting logic, reporting, and key performance indicators.
• Proficient Excel skills, encompassing complex data preparation and manual system integrations.
• Experience with accounting (FiBu) or ERP tools such as Odoo, Business Central, Sage, or Diamant is advantageous.
• Excellent command of German and proficient English skills.
