This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Establish strong partnerships with hiring managers and offer consultative support on recruitment choices.
• Facilitate strategic hiring kickoff meetings that address business requirements, success profiles, interview strategies, assessment criteria, and insights into the talent market.
• Engage proactively with stakeholders regarding priorities, progress updates, and candidate feedback.
• Collaborate with business leaders to align with organizational objectives, team structures, and future talent requirements.
• Guide and influence leaders by leveraging market intelligence, insights on talent availability, and data-driven recommendations.
• Provide advice on role design, levels, compensation, interview strategies, and hiring trade-offs.
• Work alongside People Business Partners on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
• Oversee a varied portfolio of corporate, commercial, operational, and technical positions.
• Manage the entire recruitment cycle from initial intake to offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Create and nurture candidate pipelines to address both current and future hiring demands.
• Set standardized screening criteria to assess cultural and behavioral fit.
• Formulate proactive sourcing tactics utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, professional networks, job boards, and other avenues.
• Identify and engage passive candidates through targeted outreach and relationship cultivation.
• Build and sustain talent communities.
• Represent the organization and enhance its employer brand through networking, recruitment events, and social media presence.
• Ensure a positive, inclusive, and engaging experience for candidates.
• Organize interviews, collect structured feedback, and maintain momentum in the hiring process.
• Advocate for fair and consistent hiring practices that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Keep accurate recruitment data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Track metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, interview conversion rates, and offer acceptance rates.
• Enhance recruitment processes, candidate experiences, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies, and best practices in recruitment.
• Engage in Talent Acquisition projects aimed at improving hiring effectiveness, employer branding, and recruiter capabilities.
• Execute initiatives autonomously, identify areas for improvement, suggest solutions, manage priorities, and communicate risks and dependencies.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment or HR roles with talent acquisition responsibilities.
• Strong skills in building relationships and managing stakeholders.
• Proficient in sourcing, interviewing, and assessing candidates.
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive, data-informed, and solutions-focused approach to recruitment.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• A genuine interest in learning about technical roles, talent markets, and best recruitment practices.
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without having direct authority.
• Comfort in constructively challenging hiring decisions based on data and market insights.
• Strong business acumen linking hiring decisions to organizational results.
• Ability to balance speed with quality and long-term talent strategies.
• Familiarity with Ashby as an ATS is a plus.
• Proficient use of LinkedIn Recruiter is advantageous.
• Experience with TeamOhana or other headcount planning and workforce management tools is preferred.
• Background in a high-growth, technology, or SaaS environment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of recruitment metrics and data-driven hiring decisions is a plus.
• Exposure to employer branding, talent pipeline development, or recruitment marketing is desirable.
• Candidates must complete a criminal records check upon hiring.
• Must be a Canadian citizen (dual citizens included) or eligible to work in Canada.
