This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server, storage, and GPU-based infrastructure environments.
• Provide support for cloud infrastructure and services across various platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Create and maintain automation scripts and tools using languages like Python, Shell scripting, Java, or JavaScript.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health to ensure systems are reliable and efficient.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to support infrastructure modernization and operational enhancements.
• Engage in troubleshooting of hardware, software, networking, and cloud-related issues.
• Aid in infrastructure documentation, reporting, and initiatives aimed at process improvement.
• Utilize data visualization and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to analyze operational metrics.
• Investigate and support the incorporation of Generative AI tools and concepts into infrastructure management and workflows.
• Foster a collaborative team environment while showcasing initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Assist in incident response procedures and escalation protocols to minimize system downtime and operational interruptions.
• Support security and compliance monitoring activities to ensure infrastructure environments adhere to organizational and regulatory standards.
• Participate in capacity planning and resource optimization initiatives to facilitate scalable infrastructure growth.
• Contribute to the development and upkeep of technical knowledge bases and runbooks to enhance team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures to safeguard critical infrastructure and data assets.
• Aid in network configuration, monitoring, and optimization activities to ensure dependable connectivity and performance across enterprise systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Graduation date between May 2025 and August 2026.
• Less than 6 months of relevant full-time work experience.
• Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and cloud computing principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and within a team-oriented setting.
• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, Perl, or Shell scripting (preferred).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and system administration concepts (preferred).
• Exposure to server and storage hardware platforms, including Dell, HPE, Supermicro, and NVIDIA GPU systems (preferred).
• Understanding of cloud computing technologies including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (preferred).
• Familiarity with containerization, virtualization, or infrastructure automation tools (preferred).
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau (preferred).
• Interest in Generative AI technologies and their application within IT infrastructure (preferred).
• Proven leadership, collaboration, and adaptability in academic, internship, or project settings (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities (preferred).
