Systems Engineer I – Test Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and upkeep of automated testing frameworks for component-level verification utilizing HIL systems.

• Design Python-based tools that facilitate test automation, validation processes, and data analysis.

• Aid in the execution and oversight of automated software validation across embedded systems and autonomy subsystems.

• Support the analysis of test failures, troubleshooting issues, and exploring root causes across both hardware and software components.

• Work in conjunction with systems, embedded, and autonomy teams to enhance validation strategies and expand test coverage.

• Help sustain a scalable testing infrastructure and CI-driven validation workflows.

• Assist with integration and verification tasks involving sensors, computing platforms, and control systems.

• Engage in test planning, optimization of automation processes, and validation activities throughout the software development lifecycle.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with 0–4 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree in a pertinent technical field.

• Proficient programming skills in Python.

• Understanding of software development processes, including version control, build systems, or CI/CD environments.

• Basic knowledge of embedded systems, robotics, or concepts related to hardware/software integration.

• Capability to analyze logs, debug software issues, and troubleshoot system-level problems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for collaborative work in a dynamic team setting.

• Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to learn in a rapidly evolving technical landscape.
