Systems & Cloud Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Maintain and manage server infrastructures across Windows, GNU/Linux, and virtualized platforms.

• Ensure systems, services, and devices are kept current, secure, and highly available.

• Automate repetitive tasks and operational workflows utilizing PowerShell, Bash, and scripting best practices.

• Administer and support Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft 365 environments.

• Operate and enhance monitoring and alerting frameworks while responding to system events.

• Provide L1–L3 support, manage ticketing, and address operational requests with a strong emphasis on customer assistance.

• Contribute to incident, change, and problem management processes as part of project planning.

• Support containerized and orchestrated environments.

• Oversee backup operations and ensure readiness for data restoration.

• Assist with device management processes throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Systems Administrator.

• At least 1 year of experience working with Azure.

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, GNU/Linux, networking fundamentals, and virtualization technologies.

• Proficient in PowerShell and Bash scripting.

• Solid practical experience with GCP or a strong desire to enhance GCP knowledge.

• Familiarity with containerization, orchestration, and contemporary infrastructure tools.

• Knowledgeable in monitoring, alerting, and operational observability principles.

• Hands-on experience with support processes, ticketing systems, and collaboration across teams.

• Good understanding of backup strategies, device management, and operational governance.

• Strong grasp of MS365 administration.
