This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Address technical challenges for external clients in live production settings.
• Deliver remote assistance for customer hardware, software, operating systems, databases, and related infrastructure.
• Oversee, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair customer servers, hardware, peripherals, applications, operating systems, and system configurations.
• Support and maintain intricate production systems, procedures, and database performance.
• Conduct technical analysis and optimize system performance.
• Perform remote software configurations, upgrades, maintenance, and triage activities across physical and virtual server environments.
• Actively monitor server and system health.
• Suggest preventative maintenance, system tuning, and hardware replacements.
• Implement and support backup, restore, failover, and disaster recovery procedures, including simulations and testing.
• Provide support for Windows Server and Windows Update Services.
• Assist in the deployment of approved software and custom packages.
• Collaborate with Systems Administration leadership, Field Operations, Engineering, Customer Support, and other internal teams.
• Document troubleshooting, technical findings, customer communications, resolutions, and other activities in Siebel or designated service-management systems.
• Engage in customer meetings regarding service performance, technical concerns, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.
• Participate in the on-call support rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Work Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm CST.
• Carry out other assigned duties.
• Support ScriptPro's pharmacy robotics and services utilized in pharmacy environments across the United States and Canada.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, computer science, or a related technical field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in technical support, systems administration, or a similar IT setting.
• Proficient in using SQL query tools to troubleshoot database issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server administration.
• Strong understanding of current Windows desktop and Windows Server operating systems, including client-server troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of relational databases, Windows services, system configuration, and general systems administration concepts.
• Experience with modern remote-support and remote-desktop technologies.
• Familiarity with ticketing or service-management applications and SLA-driven support environments.
• Capability to support proprietary software applications and troubleshoot interactions among applications, operating systems, hardware, and databases.
• General knowledge of IT industry best practices, system administration, cybersecurity, and related technologies.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain meticulous attention to detail with minimal direct supervision.
• Strong technical aptitude, analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills with clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple issues with varying priorities while consistently achieving individual and team goals.
• Preferred: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), or equivalent IT certifications.
• Preferred experience in supporting physical and virtual Windows Server environments.
• Preferred experience with backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Preferred experience in supporting Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Preferred understanding of the healthcare industry and/or medical insurance billing.
• Preferred knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly outpatient pharmacy operations.
• Preferred multilingual capabilities in Spanish, Arabic, or French.
• High-speed, reliable internet access with a hard-wired connection.
