System Engineer – Pharma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Install, set up, test, and maintain application software and its components.

• Ensure the systems and infrastructure have high availability and performance.

• Monitor and analyze application performance, identifying bottlenecks and suggesting solutions.

• Work collaboratively with developers to implement performance enhancements and fixes.

• Uphold security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

• Engage in the design of information and operational support systems.

• Provide technical assistance as necessary.

• Create and maintain basic scripts (e.g., LUA) for application support and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a System Engineer or in a similar position.

• Familiarity with application stacks and system administration (Windows, Linux, MongoDB).

• Proficient in scripting languages (Shell, LUA, Python).

• Understanding of APIs and system integrations.

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (OSI, TCP/IP).

• Familiarity with OPC protocols.

• Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environments.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
