System Administrator, Windows

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Management of the server farm and IT infrastructure.

• Planning, installation, configuration, and administration of intricate server environments within the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Involvement in IT projects related to the Microsoft environment.

• Maintaining system availability through fault analysis and incident resolution.

• On-call responsibilities (compensated).

• Independently creating concepts and executing them.

• Providing customer support (2nd and 3rd level) via email, phone, and ticketing systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in the Microsoft server environment.

• Proficient knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2012 and onwards).

• Extensive knowledge of Active Directory.

• Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange.

• Familiarity with PowerShell.

• Competent knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2008 and later).

• Solid understanding of networking and encryption technologies (TCP/IP, IPsec, OpenVPN, SSL, firewalls, HA, load balancing).

• Proficient in the design, administration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft clusters.

• Experience with Linux operating systems is a plus.

• Business-fluent German (C1) is required for daily communication.

• Good command of the English language.

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies from vendors like VMware, Proxmox, and Virtuozzo.

• Experience with server management interfaces (Plesk, Virtuozzo Automator, Confixx).
