System Administrator, IT Infrastructure, Server Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will oversee the seamless operation and ongoing enhancement of the server infrastructure with an emphasis on:

• Managing, monitoring, and maintaining Windows and Linux servers

• Installing, configuring, and applying updates and patches for server services

• Ensuring system availability and maintaining IT security

• Conducting backups and data restorations

• Troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and documenting processes

• Collaborating with DevOps and cloud teams while participating in IT projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training or a degree in an IT-related field, or an equivalent qualification

• Several years of experience in server administration focusing on Windows and Linux

• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V

• Experience in network administration and understanding of IT security aspects

• Analytical work style, proactive approach, and excellent teamwork abilities

• Proficient German language skills (minimum C1 level)
