This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mauritius.

📋 Description

• Assist with a forthcoming circular economy financing project in Mauritius.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Mauritius.

• Possess a Master’s degree in a pertinent field.

• Have a minimum of 10 years of proven experience with financing institutions, project finance, or funding mechanisms.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge in sustainable finance.

• Experience in sustainable finance is required.

• Familiarity with financial institutions (banks, DFIs, development banks) is essential.

• Background in project finance or funding mechanisms is necessary.

• Highly preferred experience in circular economy financing, green finance/climate finance, MSME finance, and gender-responsive finance.

• Experience collaborating with the Government of Mauritius or other Small Island Developing States (SIDS) is an asset.

• Proven track record in developing financing guidelines, credit frameworks, or investment criteria.

• Proficient in both English and French.
