β’ Perform on-site and remote Integrity Assessments along with related travel activities in collaboration with the ISCC office located in Cologne.
β’ Develop and coordinate schedules/audit plans for Integrity Assessments.
β’ Carry out ISCC Integrity Assessments at certified companies and certification bodies (CBs), as well as witness audits on CB auditors, focusing on Europe in accordance with ISCC standards across various markets. This includes a range of certification scopes such as points of origin and collecting points for waste and residues (used cooking oil, palm oil mill effluent, brown grease/grease trap fat), farms/plantations, traders, and processing facilities.
β’ Verify incoming and outgoing traceability documents, mass balances, and other pertinent sustainability criteria outlined by ISCC standards.
β’ A special emphasis may be placed on social issues related to human rights, such as ensuring fair and safe working conditions, as well as the conservation of natural resources and biodiversity.
β’ Compile Integrity Assessment Reports.
β’ Contribute to the ongoing development of the ISCC System and the ISCC Integrity Programme.
β’ A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in certification or quality management, ideally related to ISCC; audit experience is essential.
β’ Completed university education or a comparable qualification in a relevant field (environmental studies, chemistry, bioenergy, or similar).
β’ Must be independent and free from conflicts of interest (Integrity auditors cannot simultaneously serve as auditors for CBs or as consultants for system users who are also stakeholders in ISCC Integrity Assessments).
β’ Audit experience in areas such as traceability, mass balance, social compliance, greenhouse gas emissions, and/or land use change.
β’ Familiarity with waste and residue-based biofuel supply chains and/or supply chains for agricultural feedstocks.
β’ Experience within the chemical industry and understanding of circular economy principles are advantageous.
β’ Advanced proficiency in English is required.
β’ Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
β’ Comprehension of global supply chains and intricate organizational structures.
β’ Awareness of human rights within supply chains and social minimum safeguards in accordance with ILO, UN Global Compact, or the German Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains or similar human rights regulations.
β’ Must reside in Europe, with a strong willingness and availability to travel locally within the region.
β’ Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
β’ A high level of commitment, proficiency, and assertiveness is expected.
β’ A structured, precise, and independent working style is required.
β’ Good knowledge of standard IT tools (MS Word, Excel, Outlook), including the ability to use IT tools for conducting remote audits.
