β’ Ensure adherence to social and ethical standards within the frameworks of WIETA, SIZA, and SMETA.
β’ Perform social audits and evaluations.
β’ Offer training as needed for candidates who may lack experience in specific schemes.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to improve compliance procedures.
β’ Keep precise records and documentation of audits and compliance activities.
β’ A tertiary qualification in Law, Social Sciences, Human Resource Management, or Agriculture, with 2β3 years of study.
β’ Candidates with significant relevant experience may have their prior learning recognized.
β’ APSCA Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA) in good standing is required.
β’ An APSCA Membership Number and Level must be submitted.
β’ At least 5 years of work experience post-qualification, ideally including 3 years in Primary Agriculture.
β’ Demonstrated audit experience, including a minimum of 25 onsite auditor days under the supervision of a Lead Auditor and 2 satisfactory audits formally evaluated by competent Lead Auditors.
β’ Strong written, editing, and verbal communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.
β’ Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
β’ Exceptional attention to detail.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to different cultures.
β’ Capability to manage multiple projects effectively under pressure.
β’ Willingness to travel as required.
