This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Possess the ability to offer expert knowledge on radar system integration, operations, and lifecycle maintenance.

• Assist FAA surveillance initiatives with performance evaluation, troubleshooting, and modernization strategy.

• Monitor, document, and relay technical information relevant to the installation and modernization of FAA radar systems.

• Collaborate with FAA stakeholders, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with mission goals.

• Create and submit precise technical reports and status updates during each project phase (site survey, pre-installation & parts received on site, installation, and concluding with testing and acceptance).

• Promptly inform higher Peraton authorities of significant concerns (Risk, Issues, Opportunity) along with their potential impacts on the schedule.

• Supervise site and vendor technicians, maintain awareness of past and upcoming equipment installation schedules, and ensure adherence to FAA regulations.

• After installation and acceptance testing, continue monitoring updated systems and liaise with site technicians and vendors to ensure the optimization of all ATC systems through calibrations, alignments, and any further testing needed.

• All efforts culminate in upgraded radar systems that deliver enhanced detection capabilities and improved data accuracy.


⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years of experience with a BS/BA; 6 years with an MS/MA; or 12 years without a degree.

• Demonstrated strong self-starter characteristics.

• Must have substantial hands-on technical experience, including maintenance on moderately complex systems like radars, radios, or networks.

• Able to implement conflict resolution and deconfliction strategies.

• Capable of working independently under agile conditions with minimal oversight and/or managerial control.

• Proficient in critical thinking, following established processes and procedures.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to analyze a large volume of relevant data and produce detailed technical reports in an understandable format within time constraints.

• Provide clear and effective communication to all stakeholders.
