This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various teams to design, develop, implement, and monitor both new and existing services.

• Develop and enhance change management and release processes.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement through automation.

• Emphasize observability and logging with proactive monitoring, alerting, and anomaly detection.

• Engage in monitoring tasks and swiftly address production issues while project teams are involved.

• Resolve production challenges using scripts, automation tools, and infrastructure scaling techniques.

• Submit third-party tickets as necessary, including those for Microsoft, CloudAMQP, and NewRelic.

• Revise and enhance runbooks.

• Conduct root cause analyses with teams to avert future incidents.

• Work in partnership with infrastructure and security teams to develop scalable, secure, and resilient systems.

• Establish SLOs and error budgets as part of Support Engineering practices.

• Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure process alignment.

• Contribute to capacity planning and access management efforts.

• Develop top-notch solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computing-related fields such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Systems Analysis and Development.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and ArgoCD.

• Familiarity with SRE and Support Engineering methodologies and culture.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, RabbitMQ, AWS, Java, and Python.

• Experience with monitoring tools including New Relic, DataDog, and Grafana.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Background in Agile project environments.

• A strong passion for software development and ensuring software quality.

• Experience in environments that encourage and implement DevOps culture.

• Ability to creatively resolve problems and consistently pursue process and solution enhancements.

• Effective communication with teams and the organization to pinpoint issues and requirements.

• Capability to identify priorities and assess the impact of outcomes autonomously.

• Willingness to take on early-stage projects and create solutions from the ground up.
