This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.
• Assess and evaluate supplier performance while identifying opportunities for enhancement.
• Create and execute corrective and preventive action plans, ensuring proper implementation and resolution.
• Conduct audits of suppliers.
• Lead structured problem-solving initiatives in collaboration with suppliers.
• Carry out Production Process Verifications (PPVs).
• Engage in the PPAP review processes.
• Analyze defect and performance data from suppliers to identify trends and implement preventive strategies.
• Work alongside Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Quality teams to manage risks and confirm supplier compliance.
• Promote a proactive quality culture within the supply base by utilizing APQP principles and tools.
• Examine and interpret technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Travel to suppliers located in the Northeastern Region of the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2–4+ years of relevant experience, or 6–8+ years of related experience in place of a degree.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective interpersonal relationships.
• Focus on continuous improvement and achieving results.
• Capability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Familiarity with GD&T principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of Quality Management System principles and objectives, such as AS9100.
• Skilled in data analytics.
• Must reside in or near the Northeastern Region of the United States.
• Willingness to travel to and visit suppliers in the region.
