Supervisor, Electronic Health Info – Health Information Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Aids in the oversight and administration of the BHSF Health Information Management department's functions (such as Use and Disclosure of Health Information, Analysis of clinical documentation, Record retrieval and Document Imaging, MPI, and TJC activities), ensuring smooth operations across all Baptist Health facilities.

• Manages a team of 15 to 30 full-time employees in a high-volume environment, concentrating on quality and productivity to achieve Health Information Management performance standards.

• Acts as the main source of support for the Health System, which includes 8 Acute Care Hospitals, all Baptist Outpatient Centers (over 50 locations), and all Ambulatory Surgical Centers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, with a Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) and/or Registered Health Information Administration (RHIA) certification preferred.

• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a large healthcare organization required.

• Strong leadership, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and personnel management abilities.

• Proficient in health information systems, database management, spreadsheet creation, and computer technology.
