This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise and coordinate daily preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities in the field.
• Ensure the proper implementation of maintenance plans and work procedures, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Direct and assign tasks to field maintenance technical staff, optimizing workload and resources.
• Inspect equipment and facilities to identify unsafe conditions, anomalies, or potential failures, and generate work requests.
• Provide technical support and resolve complex issues in the field.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations, occupational health standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Investigate root causes of recurring failures or incidents and propose and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage tools, equipment, and materials in the field.
• Maintain communication with assigned personnel, the maintenance coordinator, and other operational areas.
• Prepare reports on progress, team performance, and significant incidents.
• Promote the ongoing development and training of staff.
• Keep the SAP database up to date, including notifications, work orders, and closures.
• Support field maintenance activities as needed, including major maintenance tasks.
• Evaluate the duration of activities and propose adjustments to optimize time, resources, and efficiency.
• Technical or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in maintenance of electric generation plants.
• At least 2 years in supervisory roles overseeing technical staff.
• Strong knowledge in mechanical maintenance, fault diagnosis, control systems, and both rotating and static equipment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a dynamic operational environment.
• In-depth knowledge and commitment to industrial safety regulations, occupational health, environmental standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Excellent skills in clear and effective communication.
• Experience with CMMS systems and advanced management of SAP PM, including notifications, work orders, and closures.
