This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Conduct 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions daily utilizing a structured, evidence-based curriculum.
• Facilitate group discussions employing a “plug and play” methodology from approved modalities to effectively engage members within the framework of our clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
• Track member progress and document the outcomes.
• Foster a positive, recovery-focused environment for members.
• Participate in local community outreach efforts to advance the mission of Groups.
• A Master’s degree is required.
• Preferred: Active behavioral health licensure such as ADC, AADC, LPC, LICSW, or associate level status with the capability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states.
• At least two years of experience leading groups in a substance use disorder (SUD) setting.
• High proficiency with technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile applications, etc.
• A strong sense of compassion, collaboration, commitment to high-quality care, and dedication to member success.
• Availability to work 2-3 evenings per week until 9pm as required.
• Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills may include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
