This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for managing a portfolio of subsidence claims, from initial notification to final settlement.

• Identify the root cause of damage through engineering expertise and evidence-based evaluations.

• Oversee investigations, monitoring, repairs, and mitigation strategies.

• Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.

• Make equitable and informed decisions that adhere to policy coverage and technical best practices.

• Actively drive progress to achieve timely and high-quality results.


⛳️ Requirements

• A recognized professional building qualification (e.g., MICE, MRICS, MCIOB, MIStructE, MCABE) or a demonstrated path toward obtaining one. Relevant experience will also be considered.

• Strong technical understanding of structural defects and issues related to subsidence.

• Capability to assess building damage remotely using provided evidence.

• Experience in the insurance sector and a comprehensive understanding of liability aspects.

• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to secure consensus among various stakeholders.

• A problem-solving orientation, capable of analyzing complex information to make well-informed decisions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with an aptitude for effective prioritization.

• Keen attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality outcomes.

• A flexible and self-motivated attitude, with the capability to work independently.
