Subcontracts Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate procurements, projects, and processes with general supervision.

• Execute procurement tasks for materials, components, and services while ensuring competitive pricing that meets schedule, safety, and quality standards.

• Conduct price and cost analyses.

• Offer support for proposals.

• Issue supplier contracts for direct programs exceeding the TINA ($2M) threshold with minimal oversight.

• Implement FAR/DFAR requirements.

• Negotiate multi-million-dollar sole-source supplier contracts.

• Manage high-value FAR/DFAR subcontracts for Government programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant Contracts experience, or a graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of related Contracts experience.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 8 years of related Contracts experience can substitute for a degree.

• At least 2 years of experience in government procurement.

• Strong proficiency in supply chain management and procurement.

• Comprehensive project management experience.

• Extensive background in managing high-value FAR/DFAR subcontracts for Government programs.

• Solid experience negotiating multi-million-dollar sole-source supplier contracts.

• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements.

• Capability to issue supplier contracts above the TINA ($2M) threshold with minimal supervision.
