Student Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Assist with routine tasks such as sorting, calculating, posting, copying, and filing.

• Maintain files in their designated locations.

• Retrieve information from tables, lists, and reports, and post it accordingly.

• Conduct light typing and word processing tasks.

• Enter data into various software systems and complete forms as needed.

• Provide basic administrative support under the supervision of staff.

• Conduct fundamental research experiments.

• Aid in the maintenance of the lab.

• Assist with administrative duties related to research.

• Engage in lab meetings, seminars, and workshops as required.

• Collaborate with members of the research team.

• Carry out other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in college.

• No prior experience is necessary.

• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education on an equivalent basis.

• Proficient knowledge of computers.

• Familiarity with clerical procedures.

• Understanding of customer service standards.

• Knowledge of collaboration and information management practices.

• Strong organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Basic understanding of research methodologies.

• Ability to detect and interpret speech or other forms of communication.

• Occasionally required to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.

• Capability to lift moderate-weight materials on occasion.

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

• Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature variations, water, or other liquids.
