Student Marketing Writer – Federal Work-Study

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create direct marketing appeals, impactful articles, and social media content.

• Review and refine drafts for clarity and accuracy.

• Gather and compose narratives about UVA alumni, students, faculty, staff, and donors.

• Undertake other related tasks within the Office of Engagement.

• Report to the Assistant Director of Content Creation, Direct Marketing.

• Only federal work-study students may apply.

• Must qualify for student employment and work-study (FWS) programs.

• Current student at UVA.

• Strong writing abilities are essential.

• Excellent time management skills are required.

• A genuine curiosity to meet individuals and learn their stories.

• High attention to detail is necessary.

• Capability to manage multiple projects at once.

• A resume and writing sample must be submitted.

• No previous experience is needed.

• Licensure is not required.
