This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Design, develop, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reporting structures that provide the commercial organization with reliable visibility across the entire commercial funnel.
• Integrate AI tools as a fundamental component of your analytical process — enhancing insight generation, elevating output quality, and allowing more capacity for advanced problem solving.
• Conduct in-depth analytical projects to uncover patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within commercial data, transforming findings into clear and actionable recommendations for commercial stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor KPIs that evaluate both business outcomes and the effectiveness of the processes that influence them, fostering a continuous improvement feedback loop.
• Take ownership of preparation and follow-up for vital internal meetings, strategic reviews, and cross-functional forums — ensuring that the necessary data is available and decisions lead to clear next steps.
• Create the analytical frameworks that support quarterly planning, forecasting, and target-setting, generating outputs that commercial leaders can utilize directly.
• Analyze, challenge, and redesign core commercial workflows — including pipeline management, forecasting rhythms, and sales incentive structures — to establish cleaner, faster, and more scalable operational methods.
• Drive end-to-end operational improvements: not only designing solutions but also ensuring their adoption and measuring their impact with rigor.
• Identify areas where AI can fundamentally enhance commercial processes, and then build and implement those solutions directly.
• Gain a hands-on understanding of our commercial technology stack, diagnosing issues related to friction, data loss, or missed opportunities.
• Convert commercial challenges into well-defined briefs that Product and Engineering teams can act upon, bringing sufficient technical fluency to be a true peer in those discussions.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics, sales operations, strategy & operations, or a comparable analytical or commercial role.
• Proficient in SQL with practical experience using BI and data tools like Looker, Tableau, or BigQuery.
• A proven history of building solutions — data models, dashboards, process frameworks, and operational tools — rather than just recommending them.
• Strong commercial instincts combined with rigorous analytical skills, comfortable transitioning between strategic discussions and hands-on execution.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI and a consistent practice of using it to enhance and streamline personal work, with a desire to integrate that into commercial operations.
• Experience collaborating across functions with Product and/or Engineering teams, possessing enough technical fluency to engage effectively in those conversations.
• First-principles thinking — challenging assumptions, stress-testing processes, and continuously questioning why things function as they do.
• A proactive approach, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to excel in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• A well-funded and established startup with ambitious goals, offering a competitive salary and the benefits of pre-IPO equity packages.
• Unlimited paid time off (PTO).
• Carrot Cash travel stipend.
• On-demand access to co-working space through FlexDesk and a work-from-home stipend.

• An entrepreneurial culture that encourages pushing boundaries and taking risks as part of everyday operations.
• Open lines of communication with management and company leadership.
• Small, agile teams that create significant impact.
• 100% employer-covered Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance for employees.
• Access to Disability and Life insurance.
