This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and sustain engaging and dynamic reports in Looker that offer insights and visibility throughout the organization.
• Take ownership of our LookML models, explores, and dashboards.
• Collaborate closely with business and operational stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Finance to gather requirements, address complex inquiries, and provide reporting that aligns with evolving operational strategies.
• Write efficient, high-performing SQL and create as well as manage data models in dbt to convert raw data into dependable, well-structured reporting datasets.
• Establish quality checks and comprehensive documentation to ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, and reliable across the organization.
• Analyze extensive, intricate datasets, develop innovative solutions to challenging problems, and present solid recommendations to leadership.
• As skills and business needs progress, undertake data engineering responsibilities including pipeline development, workflow orchestration (Airflow / Cloud Composer), and data integrations across both internal and external systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data analyst, BI, or analytics engineering role.
• Proficient in SQL for querying, transformation, and data modeling.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Practical experience with dbt for data transformation.
• Experience in creating reports and dashboards in a BI tool; Looker is preferred.
• Familiarity with a cloud data platform; GCP is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated individual who takes ownership, resolves problems independently, and recognizes when to engage subject-matter experts to expedite processes.
• Confident in making bold, well-reasoned decisions supported by data.
• Comfortable utilizing AI tools and modern data technologies to enhance efficiency, prototype solutions, and elevate output quality.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and specifically BigQuery.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Experience with data integration tools like Airbyte.
• Knowledge of version control and collaborative development workflows (Git, pull requests).
• Experience working with go-to-market or business systems data such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration through APIs.
