
Strategic Commercial Manager, Global Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement Seaman Corporation’s global strategy to drive the commercialization of all products, including FiberTite roofing membranes, XR geomembranes, and Industrial Fabric solutions, in international markets.
• Enhance and broaden relationships with current international partners while identifying, assessing, and onboarding new partners in key global regions.
• Work collaboratively with Strategic Business and Channel Leaders to support unified global account strategies and convert U.S. specifications into international demand by aligning global owners, developers, architects, engineers, and contractors with Seaman systems and performance standards.
• Ensure specification integrity throughout the design and construction phases to avoid value engineering or product substitutions.
• Create and sustain a global pipeline of opportunities that provides visibility by product line, segment, geography, and project timeline.
• Track international market trends, competitive activity, and regional dynamics to guide strategic adjustments and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate across functions with Marketing, Technical Services, Product Management, Operations, and Customer CARE to align global partner needs with internal capabilities.
• Deliver regular forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to commercial and operational leadership.
• Represent Seaman Corporation in high-level discussions with global partners, owners, and influencers to enhance long-term market positioning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in channel development, commercial leadership, business development, or sales within the construction, engineering, roofing, or building materials sectors.
• Proven success in leading and developing distributed commercial teams.
• Strong knowledge of architectural and engineering design processes, specification development, and commercial construction ecosystems.
• Established track record of influencing senior-level decision-makers and driving strategic market penetration.
• Expertise in delivering or overseeing AIA/CE presentations and other technical education initiatives.
• Proficient in CRM tools such as Salesforce, with a strong commitment to data-driven performance management.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to work independently while fostering cross-functional alignment in a matrixed commercial organization.
