Stock Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily data integrations among Workday, E*TRADE, and Equity Edge Online, ensuring records are accurate and complete.

• Address integration and data challenges by collaborating with internal teams and external vendors promptly and with thorough documentation.

• Keep precise equity records within Equity Edge Online.

• Finalize all necessary reconciliations for each reporting cycle.

• Assist with restricted stock unit releases through data analysis and validation, which includes reviewing account activation status, W-8BEN completion, and foreign disbursement coding.

• Generate both recurring and ad hoc equity reports for Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Legal, and People Operations to aid in planning, reporting, and compliance requirements.

• Serve as the first point of contact for stock-related HelpLab inquiries, triaging questions and delivering clear, accurate support to GitLab team members.

• Conduct SOX key report completeness checks and maintain documentation that supports equity-related controls, reconciliations, and audit requests.

• Propel process enhancements that increase the efficiency, transparency, and reliability of stock plan operations across global workflows.


⛳️ Requirements

• Background in equity compensation administration, public accounting, or SOX and internal audit work, with experience in equity transactions, compliance reporting, or stock-based compensation testing.

• Proficient understanding of SOX control and audit documentation standards, including the preparation of work papers that clearly outline calculations, assumptions, and supporting details.

• Familiarity with E*TRADE and Equity Edge Online, with experience in Equity Edge Online workflows being advantageous.

• Strong skills in data analysis, reconciliation, and validation, particularly with large datasets in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

• Capacity to manage detailed, high-volume workflows accurately in an audit-sensitive environment.

• Effective communication skills that facilitate collaboration with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and People Operations in a remote, asynchronous environment.

• Comfort in directly supporting team members through written explanations, issue triage, and equity-related communications.

• Willingness to consider relevant experience from related fields and a commitment to complete CEP Level 1 certification within 18 months of employment; current CEP candidates or holders are preferred.
