Statistical Modeling Analyst III – Monitoring Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Propose the scope for the assessment of risk models employing mathematical and statistical methodologies;

• Establish procedures for monitoring risk models (PD, LGD, EAD);

• Recommend alert levels and oversee performance tracking indicators for models;

• Compile technical and executive reports regarding the performance of risk models;

• Evaluate the adequacy of rules and methodologies utilized in model development in line with current regulations (Res. 4.966/21);

• Assess the integrity of the data utilized in monitoring risk models;

• Suggest and implement statistical tests for risk models;

• Collaborate with the team to devise solutions that enhance controls, tools, and the automation of operational tasks;

• Ensure proper management of internal and external audits and regulatory obligations;

• Provide support to other departments and affiliated cooperatives, serving as a reference and offering technical guidance on essential model monitoring indicators;

• Share knowledge, foster a risk-aware culture, and exchange experiences within a collaborative setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields;

• Graduate degree or MBA in a relevant field;

• Expertise in Python and SQL;

• Experience with Power BI development;

• Background in Modeling or Model Risk areas;

• Familiarity with Databricks (preferred);

• Experience in a credit cooperative environment (preferred).
