• Take ownership of complex product domains from start to finish—covering discovery, design, implementation, rollout, and iteration—working with Node/TypeScript backends and React frontends.
• Lead the architecture and system design for real-time, high-throughput workflows (e.g., call routing on an event-driven SIP softswitch, UI via WebSockets, audio streaming for speech recognition).
• Create clear technical design documentation, establish standards for code quality, testing, performance, and observability, while ensuring designs can scale efficiently as we expand.
• Collaborate with PMs, Designers, and fellow engineers to transform vague requirements into intuitive, high-performance experiences; make informed trade-offs and document decisions effectively.
• Mentor and elevate engineers through design reviews, collaborative coding, and constructive feedback; exemplify engineering excellence and nurture a culture of craftsmanship and clarity.
• Enhance developer experience (DevEx) and reliability by influencing APIs, data agreements, testing strategies, and progressive delivery methods across teams.
• Participate in on-call duties and help maintain operational excellence for the areas you oversee.

• Proven history of managing products/features throughout their entire lifecycle—from initial discovery to deployment and ongoing iteration.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React), along with solid SQL fundamentals using an RDBMS like PostgreSQL.
• In-depth knowledge of distributed systems or real-time application patterns (e.g., WebSockets/streaming/PubSub), and performance optimization across the entire stack.
• Strong product-oriented mindset and communication skills: you simplify complexity, align stakeholders, and connect technical choices to user and business outcomes.
