Staff Software Engineer, Partner Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and oversee our payment integrations platform, which includes partner APIs, SDKs, and integrated web experiences.

• Contribute to the formulation and execution of the technical roadmap for the Partner Engineering team.

• Design and create scalable APIs and integrations to facilitate money transfers among our banking partners utilizing payment methods like ACH.

• Collaborate across various departments including Engineering, Product, Design, Infrastructure, Sales, Partner, and Customer Success to deliver impactful features.

• Enhance our integrations platform to accommodate business expansion while ensuring performance and reliability.

• Continuously optimize daily operations through automation, tooling, design innovation, and observability.

• Guide engineers and uplift team standards by implementing best practices, conducting code reviews, and providing technical mentorship.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience working with Java; proficient in Spring (core/web/boot), Gradle, JUnit, and JVM tuning.

• Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture, REST APIs, message queues, and scalable distributed systems.

• Proficiency with AWS (EKS, Aurora RDS, Elasticache, DynamoDB) and containerization technologies.

• Proven track record of leading the delivery of multiple high-impact products from start to finish, on schedule and with a high standard of quality.

• Capacity to operate within a globally-distributed team while demonstrating a high level of ownership.

• Experience in aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding project scope and delivery timelines.

• Background in FinTech with knowledge of major payment rails.

• Ability to promote quality and consistency within the team without hindering speed of delivery.
