• Take ownership of the technical strategy for the Care & Onboarding platforms, guiding architectural choices that enhance scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Spearhead the design and execution of large-scale initiatives from initial concept to production, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and address systemic technical issues, including complexity, operational challenges, and inter-team dependencies.
• Establish and uphold high standards for engineering excellence through direct code contributions, design evaluations, and mentorship efforts.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations leadership to convert business strategies into actionable technical plans.
• Utilize AI-enhanced development tools to boost development speed and improve code quality.
• Over 8 years of experience delivering sophisticated backend systems at scale.
• Expertise in Java, Kotlin, or another object-oriented programming language.
• Extensive knowledge of API lifecycle management, including versioning, documentation, and deprecation processes.
• Strong grasp of query languages, data modeling, and data distribution techniques.
• Proven track record of technical leadership, capable of fostering cross-team collaboration and influencing engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
