Staff Software Engineer – Care & Onboarding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical vision for the Care & Onboarding platforms, steering architectural choices that enhance scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Oversee the design and execution of large-scale projects from their initial concept to production, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.

• Identify and address systemic technical issues, such as complexity, operational burdens, and dependencies across teams.

• Establish and uphold a high standard for engineering excellence through active code contributions, design evaluations, and mentorship.

• Collaborate with product, design, and operations leadership to convert business strategies into technical roadmaps.

• Utilize AI-enhanced development tools to boost development speed and improve code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in delivering complex backend systems at scale.

• Expertise in Java, Kotlin, or another object-oriented programming language.

• Extensive knowledge of API lifecycle management, including versioning, documentation, and deprecation processes.

• Strong grasp of query languages, data modeling, and data distribution principles.

• Proven technical leadership skills, with the capability to foster cross-team collaboration and influence among engineering, product, and business stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
