Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop the foundational platform, which includes the MCP Gateway and shared RAG services.

• Establish the technical direction by creating design documents and personally implementing the components.

• Take ownership of reliability, observability, and enhancing developer ergonomics.

• Monitor the AI tooling ecosystem and provide feedback to refine the roadmap.

• Manage services from start to finish.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully launched and managed AI platform components in a production environment.

• Held complete ownership of a backend service throughout its lifecycle.

• Proficient in various programming languages (Python, Node, .NET).

• Experienced with a variety of data storage solutions: relational, NoSQL, object/blob, vector, and document databases.

• Knowledgeable about agent frameworks, including the Claude Agent SDK.

• Delivered AI-assisted production code.

• Familiarity with infrastructure concepts (Terraform, IAM, and networking).
