This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop comprehensive software solutions that expand Cherry's presence in various practices and introduce new offerings beyond BNPL.
• Make strategic architectural choices that influence Cherry's platform across frontend, backend, integrations, and infrastructure.
• Establish and execute observability, monitoring, and metrics systems to enhance the safety, speed, and reliability of our products for both practices and patients.
• Work collaboratively with product, design, data, and operations teams to swiftly deliver impactful features and experiment towards measurable results.
• Over 5 years of software engineering experience, preferably in product-centric settings.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver reliable, high-quality applications utilizing modern frameworks, APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Fullstack experience complemented by a generalist mindset, along with knowledge of infrastructure, distributed systems concepts, and observability practices.
• Flourishes in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment while contributing to the development of Cherry's engineering culture.
• Capability to collaborate across time zones, including maintaining regular early-morning collaboration sessions with European teammates during the initial phases of team formation.
