This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take long-term responsibility for a key area within the clearing house, focusing on customer onboarding processes, entitlement management, or data validation workflows.
• Spearhead the design and implementation of backend systems using Go on GCP, ensuring they are ready for production: tested, observable, and maintainable.
• Oversee the creation of data pipelines that process unstructured vulnerability reports, eliminate duplicates, and generate clean, structured outputs.
• Establish and exemplify engineering best practices for the team, including code review protocols, testing methodologies, and incident response strategies.
• Collaborate closely with the principal engineer and manager on technical planning, ensuring architectural consistency and roadmap development.
• Work in partnership with the libraries team on interface agreements and data quality specifications.
• A minimum of 7 years of backend engineering experience, with a proven history of managing large, complex systems in a production environment.
• Proficient in Go programming with experience in GCP and Terraform.
• Demonstrated ability to build systems that handle and validate data from diverse, unstructured sources with an analytical and research-oriented approach.
• Experience transitioning a business challenge from prototype or MVP to a stable, scalable production service.
• Knowledge in designing systems with various customer entitlement levels, access permissions, and workflow management.
• Familiarity with observability tools; you ensure features are not only deployed but also performing well in production.
• A background in security, supply chain, or infrastructure sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
