Staff Product Manager – Vaults

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Define and steer the product roadmap for Morpho Vaults, spanning from the application layer to the protocol, aimed at increasing vault deposits and simplifying the depositing and earning process on Morpho.

• Take ownership of Morpho's comprehensive vault strategy, collaborating with engineering, partnerships, integrations, legal, and go-to-market teams to deliver a premier product.

• Establish and manage a customer research initiative involving trading desks, institutional clients, curators, and depositors to gain a deep understanding of their needs, ensuring internal representation for informed decision-making.

• Develop and implement a strategy for external vault providers, fostering relationships and shared deal flow to enhance the entire vault ecosystem in a manner that accelerates Morpho's growth.

• Work in conjunction with the protocol team to pinpoint objectives and research areas for the next iteration of the vault protocol.

• Navigate the legal and regulatory complexities surrounding vault products, collaborating with legal partners to influence product and technical decisions that maintain a robust offering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product experience with a demonstrated history of delivering tangible products that users engage with.

• Extensive experience in finance and/or cryptocurrency: either a traditional finance background with significant crypto exposure or hands-on experience in creating crypto or DeFi products.

• Capability to work across the entire product stack, from consumer application user experience to protocol-level design considerations.

• Comfortable dealing with legal and regulatory complexities in financial products.

• Ability to thrive in rapidly changing and uncertain environments.

• Excellent and clear asynchronous communication skills.

• Strong sense of ownership and autonomy; proactive in taking initiative.

• Team-oriented mindset with low ego.
