Staff Product Designer

📋 Description

• Acquire in-depth knowledge across various product problem areas.

• Rapidly create prototypes to address visual and interaction challenges.

• Utilize AI tools proficiently as an integral part of your daily workflow to expedite prototyping, explore ideas more effectively, and transition from concept to functional interaction.

• Foster positive and collaborative relationships with multiple disciplines, including product, engineering, and research, to explore, develop, and deliver your work.

• Engage with users to understand their issues and current pain points.

• Create experiences that are straightforward, elegant, and address genuine problems.

• Leverage remote tools to whiteboard, produce wireframes, and design in Figma to refine toward a shippable solution.

• Collaborate efficiently with teams in the US and across various time zones, showcasing strong asynchronous communication and a collaborative, low-ego work ethic.

• Validate product concepts through experimental design and research methodologies.

• Deliver valuable and high-quality outcomes without compromising speed.

• Assist junior designers in developing empathy for users and advocating for their needs.

• Represent user interests in product strategy and roadmap discussions.

• Evaluate product design work and provide constructive feedback.

• Act as a mentor for designers, guiding them in building context, strong decision-making skills, and a user-centered mindset through insightful feedback to strengthen the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing a modern SaaS or enterprise platform, or a similar product.

• An exceptional portfolio that highlights a diverse range of UX, interaction, and visual design, along with idea generation or prototyping as a method to explore and present design solutions.

• Proficiency in AI experience design: you comprehend how to create agentic workflows that feel reliable, manageable, and clear to users.

• A passion for addressing intricate product challenges with straightforward design solutions while balancing all aspects of user experience, including strategy, research, information architecture, and interaction design.

• Expertise in driving and implementing the complete iterative design process, including the development and application of design research, user stories, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visuals to achieve human-centered design outcomes.

• Experience collaborating with fellow designers to create a unified product.

• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities; you can articulate the rationale behind your design decisions to your team and stakeholders.
