Staff Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance, and robust API-driven platform components.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of essential APIs.

• Collaborate closely with product managers and other engineering teams.

• Continuously enhance platform components, APIs, and transaction processing pipelines.

• Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies.

• Address complex challenges associated with high-volume transaction processing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software or platform engineering.

• A minimum of 3 years in a leadership or senior position.

• Profound understanding of distributed systems principles.

• Strong expertise in API design principles.

• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Significant experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

• Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Go, C++, or Python.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
